How change-of-mind returns, cancellations, and refunds work at FAMIQ Technologies Pty Ltd.

Last updated

22 July 2026

This policy explains how returns, cancellations, and refunds work when you buy from FAMIQ Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 80 701 750 030) trading as TyreVault , of Coopers Plains, QLD, 4108 ("we", "us", "our"). It applies alongside, and never instead of, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — nothing in this policy excludes or limits those rights.

Change of mind

Change-of-mind returns

If a tyre simply isn't right for you, we may accept a change-of-mind return within 14 days of delivery, at our discretion. To be eligible, the tyre must be unfitted, unused, and in its original, saleable condition — a fitted or used tyre cannot be accepted back as a change-of-mind return. You cover the cost of return freight unless we agree otherwise in writing. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to change-of-mind returns of unfitted, unused goods in their original, saleable condition. This is separate from — and doesn't affect — your rights if something is actually faulty, described below.

Before dispatch

Cancelling an order

Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. If you cancel your order before dispatch, we will refund it in full: any store credit you used is restored first and the remainder goes back to your original payment method. Once an order is on its way to you or to your chosen fitter, a cancellation is treated as a return under the applicable section of this policy instead.

Australian Consumer Law

Faulty, incorrect, or not as described

If a tyre arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, you're protected by the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), and this is not a change-of-mind return — no restocking fee applies, and we cover the cost of getting it back to us. Depending on whether the problem is a major or minor failure under the ACL's remedy framework, we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you. If the issue only shows up after fitting, we may need to inspect the tyre — where possible we can involve your fitter or arrange a pickup as part of that process.

Refunds

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method. Where it suits you better, we can instead issue the refund as store credit toward a future order — we'll always confirm which option you'd prefer before processing it.

How to start a return

Getting in touch

There's no need to fill in a separate returns form — just contact our team with your order number and a short description of the issue (photos help if something looks damaged or incorrect), and we'll take it from there. Our team will assess your return and arrange everything with you directly, including a pickup where that applies, so you don't need to organise freight yourself for a faulty item.

Your rights

Nothing here limits your ACL rights

Your consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here is intended to do so.
