The new summer tires Nokian Hakka Blue perfectly adapt and work effectively in unstable summer weather. The new Hakka summer tire family has been designed specifically for northern roads and harsh conditions. It shows maximum grip and responsive handling on a wet surface.
In developing the Nokian Hakka Blue tires, recent innovations such as Dry Touch (new moisture suction lamellae) and volumetric high-speed grooves were used, thanks to which the tire exhibits reliable grip and easily stops on a wet slippery road, reducing the stopping distance at a speed of 80 km / h by almost a meter .
New moisture-absorbing lamellae effectively drain water from the contact patch, directing it to the main grooves of the tread. So the tire conquers the maximum touch area with a moistened roadbed and holds its dry areas more firmly. The tire is accurate and responsive in handling, it guarantees comfortable and safe driving from early spring until the last autumn days. The design of the slats ensures reliable grip even when the tire is worn.
In the inner shoulder area of the tire there are special volume speed grooves with elliptical planes. They are located transversely to the main grooves of the tread. These grooves retain more water as the flow increases in the transverse grooves, thereby improving tire resistance to aquaplaning.
