The Blizzak REVO GZ tire model is a completely new studless winter tire designed for passenger cars and designed to improve the environmental situation by saving fuel. Blizzak REVO GZ is the first eco-product in the Blizzak line.
Bridgestone is constantly seeking solutions to improve the environmental performance of its products. At the Tokyo Motor Show 2009 it will pay special attention to the possibilities of retreading.
The non-studded Bridgestone Blizzak Revo GZ tires demonstrated confident handling on loose snow and lightly powdered ice. When performing the “snake” exercise, the drift of the rear axle on the front-wheel drive Toyota Camry was minimal. The car was controlled quite confidently at the suggested speeds. The passage of the arc-shaped turn took place in a confidently controlled skid, the exit from the skid was clear, predictable, without swinging. The braking performance is not outstanding compared to the competitor, but is within the expected norm. The dynamics of the stopping process are transparent, and the length of the braking distance can be clearly understood even under changing road conditions.
The manufacturer focuses on three main characteristics of tires: excellent grip on ice, long service life and safe driving on any winter road.
